"I prefer living in color" - David Hockney
Widely inspired by the XXth century Pop-Art movement, David Hockney still remains an unclassifiable artist. Giving life to multicoloured landscapes and characters, he maintains confusion between painting and photography, between subjectivity and reality, so as to catch his audience in his brightly coloured universe.
Exhibition at the Centre Pompidou from June, 19th 2017 to October, 23rd 2017
This album traces in color the wonderful retrospective of the artist. Short texts give the pictures a necessary contextualisation to embrace the vastness of David Hockney's work.
