Description
Vassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) is a Russian painter and engraver, a great theorist of art. Originally from Moscow, before settling permanently in France, he spent the interwar period in Berlin and taught at the Bauhaus from 1922. There he developed a geometric artistic vocabulary that gave great importance to the intuitive process.
