The Centre Pompidou presents the first retrospective in France of Georgia O'Keeffe (1887 - 1986), one of the greatest figures of 20th century North American art. The exhibition traces the artistic career of an artist whose longevity enabled her to be, successively, the protagonist of the first American modernist painting, of the search for identity that marked the 1930s, of the abstract painting "Hard Edge" of the 1950s.
