Description
Hassan Khan, an Anglo-Egyptian artist, lives and works in Cairo and Berlin. Both musician and writer, he considers all mediums as fields of possibility and reveals a varied work mixing light sculpture, video, photography, performance and sound installation. His work takes a lucid look at the history of representations to discuss the social atmosphere of the contemporary era. He evokes scenes of everyday life confronted with intimate and confidential experiences.
His catalogue includes an interview with the artist, 7 essays, documentation and images of the artist's work (including works specially designed for the exhibition).
