Summary

Designed for the South Gallery of the entre Pompidou by the artist himself, this symphony-like exhibition on Anri Sala is made out of four of his recent movies - running one after another within a one-hour loop - as well as objects and photographs.

Description

From May 3 to August 6, 2012, the Centre Pompidou was holding a solo show on the artist Anri Sala. The movies take the audience on to a round-the-world trip: Sarajevo during the siege from 1992 to 1995 (1395 Days without Red, 2011), Berlinand its geodesic dome of Buckminster Fuller (Answer Me, 2008), Bordeaux and its deserted municipal hall (Le Clash, 2010), and finally, the famous Aztec site of Tlatelolco in Mexico City (Tlatelolco Clash, 2011). The book includes articles by Michael Fried, Jessica Morgan, Philippe Parreno and Christine Macel.
