Description
"It was breaking dawn. I arrived home with my paint box after a study, still lost in my dream and absorbed by the work I had just finished, when I suddenly saw a picture of indescribable beauty, steeped in a great inner fire. I remained speechless at first, then I walked quickly towards this mysterious painting on which I could only see shapes and colors and whose subject was impenetrable. Soon enough, I solved the enigme: it was one of my paintings that was leaning against the wall. The following day I tried in day-light to perceive again this peculiar feeling I had the previous evening, but I barely succeeded. Even on the side I constantly recognized the items, I was missing the fine light of dawn. Then I knew, objects interfered with my paintings."
