Dora Maar | Exhibition Catalog

Description
The biggest retrospective ever dedicated in France to the work of Dora Maar (1907-1997) invites you to discover all aspects of her work, through more than five hundred works and documents.
First professional and surrealist photographer, then painter, Dora Maar enjoys an undeniable recognition. Far from the model to which her intimate relationship with Pablo Picasso limits her too often, the exhibition traces the path of an accomplished artist, a free and independent intellectual.
The exhibition is co-produced with the J. Paul Getty Museum Los Angeles and in collaboration with Tate Modern (London).
The exhibition is organized with the exceptional support of the Musée National Picasso-Paris
